How to cancel a bid on HMC Brokerage?

Hey everyone, I could really use some help withdrawing a bid on the HMC Brokerage website. I placed bids on several different boats, but I really only want to buy one. Unfortunately, it's starting to look like I might end up winning multiple auctions.

I looked in the "my bids" section of my account for a cancel option, but I don't see anything like that. Can anyone tell me how to retract a bid? I'd be really grateful for your advice!

If you need to withdraw a bid, just call or email HMC Brokerage directly. It's pretty simple. Send them the links to the bids you want to cancel, or give them the year, make, model, and other details of the boats.

I had the same issue and emailed them; they removed my bid right away. You'll get a confirmation email, and then those items won't appear in your bids section anymore. Hope that helps!

I had the exact same problem and ended up winning two auctions. They really should add a "remove my bid" button. That said, I'm not too upset — I paid for both center consoles and flipped one for a decent profit, so it worked out fine. Still, it would be a nice feature for them to add since buyers can change their minds.

If you're only planning to buy one boat, maybe avoid bidding on several at once. Just a friendly observation.

Phil, glad you got it sorted. For future reference, HMC Brokerage's terms say you can retract any bid before the auction ends by contacting them. I've done it once and got confirmation in writing. Happy boating!
